The Bexhill museum was started in 1914 by a small group of dedicated enthusiasts who specialised in natural history, archaeology and ethnography. It has since developed into a fascinating and comprehensive collection. It gives an incredible insight into the history of Bexhill, its famous residents and visitors, and the important historic milestones that have made Bexhill internationally famous.

Neighbourhood Watch By E-Mail
Neighbourhood Watch By E-Mail is live in Bexhill, Battle, Rye and all Rother villages and is proving to be a great success.
The free scheme is a fast two-way communication channel providing residents with regular updates from police on local crime and crime prevention.
Messages are also issued from trading standards concerning scams and rogue traders as well as advice messages from other agencies.
It is free for anyone online and is complementary to existing traditional Neighbourhood Watch schemes.

Car Parking in Bexhill
Car parking in and around Bexhill town centre and seafront is currently free, however there are restrictions as to the amount of time that you are allowed to park in the town centre in one stay. The only exception to the free parking is the De La Warr Pavilion car park, which is pay and display during the day.
Training Facilities & Meeting Venues in Bexhill

- Cooden Beach Hotel have several meeting rooms. website link
- Centre Stage in London Road (near Aldi) has recently been refurbished and is great. Good price, but lacks parking. website link.
- Freedom Leisure (Leisure Centre in Down Road). company website link
- De La Warr Pavilion hire out the front of the theatre as a meeting room. website link
- BUPA nursing home (Grosvenor Park) at end of seafront by Galley Hill. They hire out a training room and have full disabled facilities and parking. Very reasonable rates. Tel: 01424 213535.
